LEARNING MUSIC AS A MOTHER TONGUE
The success of the Yamaha Education System It lies in teaching how to listen and maximizing the creative, expressive and intuitive factor in learning music, in a similar way to how a baby begins its first babbling through listening and over time constructing meaningful sentences.
Early musical education has a significant impact on the development of children's skills, establishing a solid foundation for learning. Therefore, we support this stage of growth with a music education curriculum marked by different levels, each of them appropriate to the ideal learning age.
He Yamaha Music Education System Maximizes expressiveness from the earliest ages thanks to its particular focus on musical learning. It includes a program of structured courses adapted to the physical-emotional development, offering a quality and comprehensive musical training.
The course
Music Wonderland
It is designed for children of3 to 4 years old,
who attend accompanied by a parent or guardian. It provides children with their first musical experiences using the keyboard and focuses on teaching music with rhythm, using the whole body, and creating sounds on a keyboard. These activities are fun and encourage children to discover their interest in music through play.
The program aims to:
- Inspire the
children
to express their own feelings with music (singing and through rhythm)
- Teach an active perception of different rhythms (meter, tempo, rhythm)
Children between four and five years old go through a period of rapid development in their auditory skills. They are very quick at remembering words and sounds. Experimentation allows them to develop a fundamental understanding of music at this key point in their lives.
The classes of the
Junior Music Course
are adapted to the level of
physical, emotional and intellectual development
of children of these ages. Based on the basic principle of
Yamaha Music School
By learning music as a mother tongue, they acquire their musical skills in a simple and natural way, imitating and repeating individual steps.
The objectives of the
Junior Music Course
are:
- Learn the fundamental elements of music: melody, rhythm, and harmony.
- To empower students to experience all aspects of music in order to foster their creativity and musical sensitivity.
- Teach children to sing what they have heard, to play what they have sung on a keyboard instrument, and to read the notes they have played.
The course
Music Adventure
It is an initial musical training for children
6 to 8 years old, without prior musical knowledge, encompasses a wide variety of fun musical activities that teach the basic principles of music, such as chord and harmony-based games, singing songs, music theory, playing repertoire pieces, and group performance.
